About Mercedes

Mercedes was dumped on the streets in Houston, Tx and found herself in the shelter. She was then adopted and failed by her humans because they did not know how to introduce her to their new dog properly so she was once again dumped at the shelter. Because she was returned to the shelter, she found herself on the euthanasia list. She was rescued by Gem State Service Dogs & Rescue just in time. Headed on transport to Idaho to find her forever home and start a new chapter to her very young life. Mercedes is a joy to be around and loves attention. She does well with other dogs and is learning to tolerate cats. She also does well with children but will need to be taught proper manners. A home with patience and the ability to give her some training will suite her best. Mercedes is a great dog and you will for sure LOVE her.
