About Kano

Handsome and available meet kano! Young shepherd/malinois mix between 1-2 years old. Kano is current on vaccinations, chipped, and neutered. Kano is heartworm positive. He has started treatment while in our care. Kano is being treated with the method of 'slow kill', which means there are no restrictions or limitations to his daily routine and life. Once treated kano will go on to live a long and healthy life. Kano will need to be given monthly preventatives as all dogs in our rescue to keep him protected going forward. Please do not let this deter you from adopting a deserving and fun dog like kano! Kano would benefit from a experienced owner, someone who is willing to work with him on his basic commands and manners. He is a giant Teddy bear who is happy to be close to people. He does have alot of energy to burn so a active home is best. Due to his age and size no small children. Older children or a adult only home would be the best fit. Kano likes to play so another dog similar in size and energy would be good, or he could also be the one and only soaking up all the love. Cat compatibility is unknown at this time.
