Hi, my name is McKinney, but my foster mom just calls me Mickey. (She says it's quicker and easier to say.) Let me start by saying that I love to play. I love playing with my foster fur siblings. I love playing with toys. I love playing with sticks in the yard. Did I mention I love playing with my fur siblings? I really, really want a playful fur sibling in my new home; (or at least regular playdates with another pup like me) and a fenced yard so I can run and run and run. Foster mom says I have 2 speeds%BD'%BD| full throttle and asleep. I don't know why she says that. Just because I can play and run and play some more%BD'%BD| and then I sleep. I don't mind my crate and will go in when asked. I will sleep all night in my crate. I don't like it, however, if I have to be in my crate when others get to go out. THEN I tell everyone about the injustice of it all. I'm a vocal boy according to my foster mom. I don't think I'm that bad, but she says I definitely wouldn't be a good fit for an apartment. I will bark at my fur siblings when we are playing, and I will bark if I'm in my crate and they are out. That's about it. I am full of energy (I've been compared to the certain never-ending bunny) and such a happy boy, I wiggle my WHOLE body. Foster mom says she wishes we could have a video on my bio, just so everyone would get to see how I wiggle my entire body when I'm excited. I am a little nervous if you try to pet me while you're standing up, or if you come at me head-on. Foster mom is letting me know that no one's going to hurt me anymore. I will get on your lap for pets when you're sitting, and shower you in puppy kisses. I am doing really well with my potty training. I've regressed just a little in the past week or so, but it's been extremely busy at foster mom's house, so I forget sometimes to potty outside. She thinks I will be much better when I get to my furever home. Every so often I have a mistake in my crate right after I come inside the door, but that is rare. I'm starting to like going on short leash walks. Not so bad at all. If you think we'd be a perfect fit, please fill out an adoption application at australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application. All adoption fees go to help other dogs like me. McKinney is approximately 6 %BD%BD months old. He is neutered, and UTD on all of his vaccines. He is on HW and flea prevention and microchipped. He and his sister were rescued from an Amish puppy mill when they didn't sell. McKinney is being fostered in Jackson, OH. There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new family.
