About Bear

Hi, my name is Bear and I used to be a livestock guardian dog and I used to be good at it. Now, I just love being a house companion and following my human around like a shadow. I don't like being left alone out in the pasture so I'm looking for a family who will let me be a companion and spoil me rotten. I'm a big baby and I know my basics.. sit, stay, shake, etc. but I do still have some manners to learn so I will need to be worked with! I do great with kids and have lived with them in a foster home but I can sometimes be possessive of my food/toys/bones so I would do best in a home without children or other dogs just to be on the safe side. I am a very big dog and when I first meet you I m probably going to jump on you but I calm down quickly and will lay at your feet...Don't worry, I'm working on that though!
