About Jordi

Jordi is such a great companion. He is handsome, well-behaved and totally loveable. He approaches with his whole body wiggling when he greets you. Jordi is a very patient dog, waiting while his harness is fit on him and will reward you during the process with some slobbery kisses. He is great at getting in the car and going for rides without hesitation. During a recent outing, Jordi met bicycles, hikers, runners, families with children which all left him totally unfrazzled. He watched quietly and went about his very important business of sniffing around. He also met other doggies and they spiked his interest a little, but he didn't bark at them, just perked up his ears and tried to say hello. He loved his treats and was very gentle taking them. Jordi has an average level energy and although he is a bigger boy, he is very easy to handle. He repeatedly checks in with his people during walks. He is friendly, social and playful with other dogs. Jordi has a rough and rowdy play style. He also enjoys playing with balls and other toys. We are hoping to find him a foster or even better his forever home, where he can relax and put on some much-needed weight, since he is a little bit too skinny. Jordi is approximately 2 years old and weighs 56 pounds. He is heartworm positive and will receive heartworm prevention from OSS until he tests negative. Jordi is located in Memphis, TN.
