My name is Maggie! I am a sweet, loving maltese. I was discarded from a puppy mill because I couldn't be bred. Since getting to my foster home I have really come out of my shell and love my foster family and doggy friends! I truly enjoy meeting new people and enjoying my life outside the mill. Since I've lived most of my life in a puppy mill, I am still learning how to dog. I've discovered I love fluffy toys and snuggling CONSTANTLY. I would love to always be close or on your lap. I am super sweet girl and learning quickly, but house training has been a journey for me. I'm doing much better but will need continued work. I will say I'm doing much better in the warmer weather and enjoy going outside. I also am still learning how to walk on a leash. With continued practice and training with my new family I know I will love to join you on walks! I sleep quiet and clean in my crate all night long. But leaving me home alone can be stressful. I'm still learning that my person will ALWAYS come back for me. That said I usually cry/bark in my crate for awhile before calming down. I wouldn't be a good candidate for apartment living due to this. All that out of the way, I have to say I will be SO worth the effort! Because I am a total love bug. I will show you nothing but love and appreciation my whole life through!! Maggie is being fostered in Cleveland, Ohio.
