About LUCI

Luci is a beautiful 3 1/2 month old puppy from a private rescue in Puerto Rico. She was thoroughly checked by a veterinarian in San Juan, P.R. before transport. She is heartworm negative, dewormed, microchipped and current with all vaccinations. Luci had a follow-up exam by a veterinarian after arrival in MA. She is described as a deer-head chihuahua, lab and whippet mix breed. She weighs 11 1/2 lbs. now. The vet predicts that she will grow to 20 lbs. She is being fostered with two playful chihuahuas. Luci is doing great with potty and crate training. She sleeps throughout the night - no whining. She is very smart, affectionate and responds well to commands. Luci keeps herself occupied with her doggie toys. She should do well in a home with children and maybe another dog companion. Looking for a home with a fenced in yard to satisfy her need to run, run and run. An approved application is required before the first meeting with Luci. A foster-to-adopt placement is necessary before the adoption is finalized. An adoption fee of $575 is asked to partially reimburse the cost of veterinarian bills and transport. [email protected]
