Oreo is a bit shy and insecure. He's sweet with people he's met but can take a while to warm up to people. Oreo does have some resource guarding, but we're working through that. Also, posted with his brother Moco. Both have high prey drives and like to chase anything from bees to cars. I don't believe either has had much as far as training goes, but both are pretty quick learners. They are crate trained, although they prefer not to be in them, I've left both in crates while at work (turns into a 12 hour day to and from). They both pull while on leash, but do well with gentle lead head collars. They know sit, but do not stay very well. I've been working with both with basic manners, although I think they'd learn quicker in separate homes. They feed off each other, not in a good way. Most of us wish the dogs that come into our care could stay together, but sometimes it's better for the dogs to be separated in order to live a happier, healthier life. If these two where adopted together, adopter would need to be very experienced. Together or separate, they'll need some continued basic obedience training. With their physical and personality traits, I believe these boys are a Russell, Corgi and Bully mix. We adopt within 100 miles of Waldorf, MD.
