About Murray

**PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY** Murray is a sweet 4.5 yr old, 7 pounds, long haired Chihuahua mix young man. He came to the rescue when his owner could no longer care for him. His pocket size is deceptive regarding his energy and stature. Murray is a very sweet and playful boy. Murray' s dad was a sushi chef and would make sushi and other fancy meals for him everyday. Murray would like to eat things like sashimi, rice with egg (poached, scrambled, fried and omelet style), roast chicken, smoked salmon, and sliced deli meats. His dad would usually mix human foods with a little bit of dry food to make sure his digestive system was well. Murray will eat as much as you give him, though, so you have to be careful not to give him too much. Murray is house trained and he grew up in condos so he is used to being walked to go potty. He is often shy with people at first and may even bark at them when they first enter your home but he never bites, and he stops barking quickly. He just wants to protect his family! It helps to take him outside on a leash to meet people first and then enter the home with everyone together. Murray is also timid around large dogs, but he likes to hang out with other small dogs. Murray loves playing catch and tug of war, and showing off how fast he can run. He loves going to parks and going on walks, but gets shy around other dogs. He also loves going on road trips and going camping and getting to see majestic views in nature. And Murray likes to sleep in the bed if you will let him, but he will sleep elsewhere if you give him a cozy spot outside of the room. Most of all, though, Murray just loves being petted and getting all of the attention he can get! Murray is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $350.00.
