This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. Roscoe is very sweet and loving. He can become protective when there are unknown people around. He is very sensitive and becomes quite scared with loud noises (thunder, fireworks, etc). He is not a dominant dog. He has an 'Aussie smile' which can look like he's growling and angry, but that is in fact quite the opposite! He will 'herd' new people and if he feels threatened, he may nip (and very shortly after cower in the corner because nipping is not allowed). He has a terrible habit of running into the road and chasing cars or runners. This is our biggest issue with Roscoe. He has been successfully trained on an electric fence, and has had no issues. We did take his collar off, and he still follows the rules. We are unable to take Roscoe with us as we are moving to Hawaii from New Hampshire. This is absolutely devastating for our family, but we would like Roscoe to be with a family who understands Aussies and their need to herd and have jobs, while also being the center of the family.
