Rescued from the barbaric New York City kill pound which sentenced him to death for no reason other than convenience, APOLLO is a 4-yr-old Pitbull mix who is 'friendly, outgoing, affectionate & gently playful with adults & older children,' and 'loves to play with his toys & go for walks,' wrote a kill pound volunteer who favored him. APOLLO would do well with adults and older kids but is mistrustful of other dogs and tends to overreact in the presence of cats. APOLLO would love to live with a family that has a fenced yard to run and play in, but would also love to cuddle on the couch just as much. As a result of being deprived of the good things in a dog's life, long neglected APOLLO does tend to be somewhat defensive around the toys he treasures, but it's a mild and easily manageable issue that his rescuers will advise his adopters how to manage. APOLLO, who has no bite history, is a gentle, mild-mannered boy who will thrive with a little bit of love and a regular routine. Please call Andrew for pictures and videos of the handsome boy who finally deserves the loving family he has never known. Thank You for your interest in APOLLO.
