Wouldn't you want a dog who loves people, other animals, playing, snuggling, going on walks, and spending time with her family? A tall, perhaps even impossible order, you say? Don't be silly! You just haven't met Lilly, a lovely lady of larger proportions. At 25 lbs., this 8-year-old rat terrier mix is a bit over her ideal weight of around 22, but her love of physical activity and a healthy diet is already helping her slim down. And as you can see below and in the video in her online photo album at https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/lilly , Lilly would never a few pounds come between her and her passion for chasing balls and other athletic pursuits. Sniffing around the yard and lounging in the sun are two other favorite pastimes. Lilly is 100% house-trained and loves to sleep on the furniture and snuggle under the covers with you at night. She has a little anxiety when her foster family leaves the house, and she will bark on and off and look out the window. When she's in a crate, she's less anxious, but she should not be left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. Lilly's wish list for her future is short and sweet: a canine companion and playmate, an active adopter who will continue to help her lose the extra pounds, and a home where she will be loved forever. Now, that's not a tall order at all. ---------------------------------------------------- IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING LILLY, please go to New Rattitude's website at https://newrattitude.org/adopt/, where there is detailed information and a link to our adoption application.
