To help us make a great fit for you, and any of our dogs as well, please include information about yourself(Home, family, yard/fence, work hours, other pets...) and/or use our application at sparrowdogs.com. Those emails will get the quickest response, we do the best we can, but if we have to follow up with an email asking you about yourself and waiting for a response, well, we have already moved on to the next email that has provided the details. We are doing the best we can to find the right home for each dog or cat, just need your help too! :) Cello and his brother, Banjo are more than ready to go to their very own homes. It would be great for them to be adopted together, but that is not necessary. We would say they are Pug mixes. Banjo is a little shorter and stockier, he looks like he could have Corgi in him. Cello has the Pug look as well, but is a little taller. He looks like a Pug/Shepard mix, also called a Shug. If you google this mix you will see a couple dogs that look just like Cello. It is possible to have different fathers for the same littler of pups, so that could explain their differences. How fun to have such a unique little dog, and what a potentially odd combination!! They both have unique personalities and interests(Yes, dogs have interests, lol). Where as Banjo loves playing with the other dogs most of his day, Cello is a bit more independent. Although he will play for a bit with everyone, he is content to venture out on his own. Maybe he is more of an introvert?? Whatever the case may be, Cello loves exploring, checking out the yard and looking for exciting things. So far he has discovered the gophers that lurk under the bird feeders just out of reach on the other side of the gate. They are really fun for Cello to watch!! He fancies himself a bit of a hunter, but so far the only thing he has caught is a turtle. The guy didn't have a chance. But, he was put safely in the pond next door. Cello is fascinated by the large goldfish in the backyard pond. He dabs his little foot in the water as they swim by, he is quite the little character. Both boys when indoors are very peaceful and quiet, they find a bed or blanket to lay on and relax. They do sleep in a crate at night, and are more than happy to snuggle in with a couple of treats or a treated kong. They are also well mannered, are not destructive and are housebroken, they are very easy to care for. But, they could use an experienced dog owner, and probably would do better in a home without small children. They are 3 years old and about 30 pounds. Cello's adoption fee is $250, or both Cello and Banjo can be adopted for $400. They will go home with tons of supplies to help them settle into their new home!
