To help us make a great fit for you, and any of our dogs as well, please include information about yourself(Home, family, yard/fence, work hours, other pets...) and/or use our application at sparrowdogs.com. Those emails will get the quickest response, we do the best we can, but if we have to follow up with an email asking you about yourself and waiting for a response, well, we have already moved on to the next email that has provided the details. We are doing the best we can to find the right home for each dog or cat, just need your help too! :) Ok...your guess is as good as mine...just what are these two little knuckleheads? They are just 3 years old, and yes, they are brothers. Banjo, the little stocky boy, the low rider looks pug/doxie. His brother Cello is a bit leggier and has more of the pug tail and coloring on his face, and they surely have the lusher coat of a pug. So, yep, they are a mighty fine mix of some great breeds. They were guessed to be Rat Terrier/Beagle mix, but perhaps that came from the original family that had a bit more insight...we don't know. But, we do know there is nothing better than a good Mutt!! Cello and Banjo are a little bit on the shy side, They came to our foster home quite reserved, hesitant to go outside, or come back inside. They are warming up nicely and have enjoyed running and playing and have made great strides settling in. But, either one of the boys will need a patient family to help them settle into their new home. At this point they do need a little encouragement to get out and play, but when they do they have a blast, run around, chase balls and interact with the other dogs. When they are inside they are very peaceful and quiet, they find a bed or blanket to lay on and relax. That could change in their new home, they may be holding onto some party manners at this point, lol. They will do well with a dog savvy home(maybe not first time dog family). They will need a little patience, quiet time and understanding to help them relax. Both boys are so sweet, Cello is a bit more shy. They do not have to be adopted together. The adoption fee for each is $300, or $500 for both. They are very easy boys to take care of, but will do well with a fenced yard(leashing makes them a bit nervous) and another dog in the home will be great. Please email Kristine at [email protected].
