About Calla Lily

Meet Calla Lily, a sweet 4 year old, 5 pound Yorkie girl being fostered in Sherman, TX. Only Texas residents will be considered. Callie has been in her foster home a little over 5 days. She is doing well and is recovering from her spay and dental. Good news is that she didn't have to lose any teeth, but she had already lost 11 due to past poor dental hygiene. She is losing some of her fear at being around strangers. Although she won't let you pick her up yet, she will come when called, snuggle with you on the couch, and let you pet her once she is sitting with you. The vet said she is in great shape and weighs 4.9 pounds. The first night in her foster home, she told us she wanted her sleeping spot to be in the 'big bed' and presented herself smack dab in the middle of it! She has since been downgraded in her hotel arrangement due to jumping onto or off the big bed. I am sure once she heals, she will make her sleeping preference known again! Callie is sweet, cute, fun, adorable and very laid back. She will make someone a perfect companion, and she is small enough to go everywhere with you.
