About Peppa

Our pup Peppa has had the best possible upbringing that we could provide. She was born 8/4/22 at our Connecticut Rescue, just two weeks after we pulled her Mama, Bonita, from NYCACC.��%BD%A0Bonita was pregnant when NYC Animal Control Officers found her tied to a gate in Brooklyn.��%BD%A0After five days, she was transferred to us for whelping.��%BD%A0 Bonita was the ideal Mama, and her nine pups have thrived. The pups were weaned effortlessly, and have been well socialized since birth. At 13 weeks old, Peppa was snapped up by folks who had adopted an older Coonhound from us and she lived large for a few months. Eventually, Peppa's puppy mojo was too much for the older dog to live with long term.��%BD%A0 Now seven months old, Peppa is ready for her new home. She is a vivacious girl with a bold temperament. She loves spirited, roughhouse play with other dogs and always seems to be in the thick of the action. Peppa loves to mind business that is not hers, and has potential to be a good natured Alpha dog.��%BD%A0 We have DNA tested the pups to be sure of breed mix, and learned they are 99% American Staffordshire Terrier, and 1% Border Collie.��%BD%A0The Border Collie smarts definitely show up in Peppa. She will likely keep her adopters on their toes.��%BD%A0Peppa has beautiful brindle Staffie coloring with distinctive white markings, and some big ol' Border Collie ears.��%BD%A0 Peppa would be an excellent choice for a savvy Bully Breed adopter, willing to commit to ongoing training and socialization. Peppa has been born into ideal circumstances, and we seek an Adopter willing to raise her as a Canine Good Citizen.��%BD%A0 Peppa is in excellent health and has been spayed, fully vaccinated and dewormed.
