Daisy is extremely shy and insecure and her forever home must consist of a human who will respect the fact that Daisy, prior to being rescued was neglected and had little contact with humans (hoarding situation). Daisy wants nothing more than to be respected and treated with kindness and compassion and we will say that this little girl has come a long way since her rescue a year ago. When we picked her up from the shelter, she was nothing more than a shell of a dog. Her loving personality is emerging and she needs a quiet home with lots of one-on-one attention. Oh my gosh, did we mention her absolutely adorable ears? They are epic! Her perfect human is one who has had experience with shy and insecure dogs since Daisy will tremble while being held. Always always speak gently to her. After a year of rehab Daisy is finally wagging her tail and the transition from her fosters home into her forever home will be very difficult for her. It will be scary for her! Her name must NOT be changed since going into a new home the only familiar thing to Daisy is her name. Like many small Chihuahua's, Emily would love nothing more than a warm lap and a human to call her own. Will you be Daisy's forever family?
