About Ying

Meet Yang! Yang and her sister Ying came into the shelter in early March after being found as strays in the woods. Given their circumstances, they were likely dumped by their previous owners who no longer wished to care for them. That's okay because Yang is more than ready to find a new forever home that will love her forever. Yang is an incredibly social and bouncy puppy! She LOVES everyone she meets, and has never met a stranger. We think she would do great in a big family where she can get attention 24/7. She is great at cuddling, and would love to live in a home with other dogs that she can play with! She would also be great in a home with kids as she isn't too pushy, and seems to be easy to train so far. We think any home that is experienced in raising and caring for puppies would be great. Yang deserves a FOREVER home, not a temporary home that will get rid of her when she gets bigger. Yang is a 5-month-old mixed breed puppy who currently weighs 20 pounds, we believe she may way up to 50 pounds as an adult dog. She has been vaccinated and dewormed at the shelter. Located at the Brownsville Haywood County Animal Shelter in Brownsville, Tennessee. The adoption fee is $60 with a $60 vet fee to be paid on the day of spay/neuter at Bells Animal Clinic. Alternatively, adopters can have spay/neuter completed at their vet, at their vet's cost. Spay/neuter is required within 30 days of adoption. We have no pull fee and can help arrange transport for local 501c3 rescue groups.
