Hope is an 18-month-old, 56-pound, female Husky-mix who landed at Chicago Animal Care and Control as a pregnant stray in November. Her ten puppies have been adopted, but her foster mom currently has pneumonia •À%BD'•À%BD| We need to find an emergency foster immediately for this amazing dog. Hope is wonderful with children. She's also a fabulous snuggle buddy with humans of all ages. She loves playing fetch with a tennis ball, and would really enjoy running in a fenced-in back yard. She is perfectly housebroken, quietly and perfectly crate-trained, and well-behaved in the home. She does have a high prey drive, so she shouldn't live with cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, small dogs, etc. She is extremely healthy, spayed, de-wormed, vaccinated for rabies, distemper, and bordetella, and microchipped. If you're interested in fostering/adopting beautiful, sweet Hope, please fill out the application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and then follow up by e-mailing [email protected] for an appointment to meet her. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. She is currently being fostered in Chicago, Illinois.
