About Chiquita

Chiquita just may be the spunkiest 10 year old pup we've met. She is sassy and lets you know what she wants. Food, love, attention - this girl will bark the cutest bark to let you know or maybe demand is a more appropriate word. This lovely little golden girl was found as a stray by one of our previous adopters and they turned her into the shelter in hopes that her owners would be looking for her. Alas, they weren't and a senior, black chihuahua doesn't do well in most shelters so they reached out and asked us to pull her. Chiquita desperately needed a dental so we got that for her and we've truly just been enjoying her. She would love to have a home of her own and a human to boss around.
