Charlie and Letty are a pair of happy, sweet, fun and friendly, bonded dogs looking for a loving guardian. Charlie is a seven-year-old, 43-pound male Cocker Spaniel/Poodle-mix. Letty is a seven-year-old, 69-pound female Lab/Terrier-mix. These dogs know basic commands, walk well on leash, are great in the car, are good with other dogs, cats, and people of all ages. While they were accustomed to a house with a yard, when their dad was diagnosed with dementia, he was forced to move and couldn't take his beloved dogs. They are well-behaved in the home. Overall, these are lovely, healthy dogs looking forward to a new loving home. They are well-trained; don't sleep on the bed. They are not picky eaters and are housebroken. They are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on rabies, distemper, heartworm tested negative and microchipped. They just need a bit more exercise and a better diet plan. Their adoption fee of $275 as a pair benefits rescue and includes all you need to care for them. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting both of these dogs, please fill out the application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and then follow up by e-mailing [email protected] for an appointment to meet them. They are currently in a foster home in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago.
