About Ascher

Ascher is a STANDARD SCHNAUZER around 35 pounds or so, and he came to us from a prior owner who didn't have a fenced yard and was forced to crate him far too much which led to some behavioral and bathroom issues (since their kids didn't let him out of the crate enough. He's a bundle of energy and has grasp of basic commands, since the previous owner spent thousands of dollars on professional dog trainers in an attempt to manage Ascher's issues. Having a schedule and structure at our place has helped him tremendously, as has the chance to be outside and free to run in a large fenced dog yard. He is HIGHLY food motivated and has had some nipping/biting issues with strangers in his former home. However he's been to different groomers without issue and is very affectionate and loyal to 'his' people.
