About Cinnamon

Havanese mix
Age: Senior
Sex: Male

Cinnamon is a special older fellow who is hoping to find a human he can spend the rest of his life with. He is a 11 year old Havanese mix. Neutered and current on vaccines. He's been heartbroken and let down in the past. In 2018, he was dumped at a shelter and then adopted by a woman he loved very much but in 2022 she had to be placed in a 24 hour care home. Cinnamon was SO depressed when he came to ZennaLife Dogs that the team thought he wouldn't survive the weekend. At first he seemed to only like women but in time and with patience and love he's shown us all that he's ready to be in a loving home with any kind of human who is around a lot. He's even ok with another dog, as long as the dog is nice and easy going and close in size to Cinnamon. Cinnamon really enjoys exploring in a yard and prefers to go to the bathroom outside. He wears a diaper overnight just in case his foster mom sleeps a little longer than Cinnamon. Speaking of sleep, Cinnamon sleeps a lot and he's okay being left for a few hours once he gets comfortable in his new surroundings. He will follow his person around from room to room but he's also an independent fellow. Cinnamon isn't super snuggly but he loves to be close to his person. Here's what we are looking for for Cinnamon: Adopter who lives in Palm Springs, Riverside, or nearby. Adopter with dog care experience. No doggy doors. No homes that back onto a golf course without a fence. Adopter who is physically and mentally healthy. We are willing to place Cinnamon in a long term foster situation too. That means we are always around to help out if necessary. Do you want to join Cinnamon's village? Fill out an application at ZennaLife.com. We'd love to meet you! Please call or text Kate at + (310) 633-3303. Thanks!
