About Laila

Laila is a whole lot of love in a small package. She has really short legs but that doesn't slow her down. She loves to play and go on long walks. Belly rubs are her favorite. She tends to be dog selective so would likely do well with a more submissive canine companion but not so well with a more dominant personality since she likes to be Queen Bee. Not good with other dogs. Laila is available for a virtual meet and greet after an adoption application has been submitted which can be found at dixieadoptables.org. **We are a rescue in Mississippi that travels up the East coast and to the Ohio area once a month to meet adopters with their pre-adopted dogs and cats at a predetermined time and location. Dixie Adoptables is one of many shelters working to get animals out of the area where shelters are always full, and adoptions of the sweet babies are hard to come by. We are grateful to every person that chooses to adopt and give a home to a loving animal, whose only fault was being born in a part of the country where their value is underappreciated and spay/neuter is done far too infrequently.
