About Tansy

Tansy is an energetic, 34 pound, 2��%BD%BC year old Blue Heeler. She has been trained and knows commands. Somedays, like any toddler she needs to be reminded that she has to use her manners and listen. She needs a large yard to play in. She loves catching frisbees and playing with her herding ball. She is loyal and protective. Tansy will do best in a home with no young children as they sometimes can unknowingly provoke dogs. She travels well and loves going on adventures. She loves the beach. She has been exposed to a cat, but wants to play with the cat more than the cat wants to play with her. She lives with a senior rescued Poodle Mix and they get along. She plays well with other dogs when going to Doggie Daycare. She doesn't like seeing animals on tv but loves watching tv. I think she thinks the dogs, cats, horses and even the Geiko lizzard are coming into her home and she wants to stop them. She is getting better with that though. Tansy deserves a human who will take her on adventures and match her energy. She enjoys car rides, the beach, hiking and exploring. She is super intelligent and needs jobs to do to keep her busy and challenged. Tansy is well loved and because of that I made the gut wrenching decision to rehome her. I cannot give her all the time and attention she needs. I have 3 very young grandchildren who are with me in part two weekends a month and every Thursday night. I also work full time. It is selfish to try and shape her into being the kind of dog I need her to be to fit my current situation. I would rather she be free to be the kind of dog she was born to be. I would like to receive occasional updates; at least a couple times a year, and a photo now and again if that would be okay. I am asking $300 to rehome her because she comes with her raised dog bed, crate, herding ball, slow feeder dog dish, leashes and toys.
