About Abbey

Abbey is a loyal, sweet, adult female catahoula, approximately 8 years old. We have had her since she was about 2 years old in a house with a cat, husky, and little children in and out. Unfortunately, Abbey recently began attacking the older husky in our home and we are no longer able to safely keep her. She is very temporarily staying with a family member until we can find her a good home where she will be the only dog. Abbey would do best in an active home and needs regular exercise, which we cannot provide due to our mobility issues. Aside from these recent issues with our husky, Abby is a total sweetheart. She literally hugs people and has always been a pushover to our grandchildren. She has herding energy but also knows how to chill-ax when needed. In a household with no other dogs, she will be the perfect addition to a family or a loyal sidekick.
