About Duchess

**ADOPTERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO DRIVE TO CHICAGO, POSSIBLY MORE THAN ONCE-- if you live too far, please do not inquire as animals will not be shipped** PLEASE READ descriptions in FULL before inquiring** The adoption fee is $250 each dog. Duchess and Misty are bonded sisters who were surrendered to our center when their people were moving and decided they didn't want them anymore. The duo is sweet but shy. They have been going through a big adjustment and are understandably shaken. We believe, that given the opportunity, a quiet and calm home could help them feel as ease and settle into themselves. They need a lot of love! They rely a lot on each other and hope to be adopted together. These ladies also came in with a nice young boy pup, Princeton. We'd love to see the 3 go home together if you have the space! They might be considered in a home with children over 10 years old who are kind to animals. They do well with other dogs similar in size and can be tested with cats for a serious adopter. This pair is about 1.5 years old and 13lbs. Misty is the pekingese mix.
