About Roxy

When Chewy and Roxy's person passed away, no one in the family wanted to take on the care of the pair. They had lost their only family, and now no one was stepping up to help them through their grief. They landed at our center, where they are now safe, fed, and cared for, but it doesn't fill what their hearts need. They long for a family that they can share their everyday life with. They want to be caressed in your lap, they want to follow you on a walk, they want to lovingly look into your eyes until you drop a piece of your food from your plate for them to enjoy. They want all those things that make up what it means to have a home and be a part of a family. They don't want to lose each other in the process of it though and would love to be adopted together. This pair is very, very sweet and they are just so pleasant to be around. We'd consider them in a home with other dogs similar in size and we can test with cats for a serious adopter. Children might be considered so long as they are nice to animals and can understand their ques, needs and boundaries. The adoption fee is $250 each dog. --These pups are about 7 years old and about 6lbs.
