Stella is a friendly, loving and fun, three-year-old black, brindle and white, 60-pound, boxer/pit bull terrier-mix who landed as a pregnant stray at Washington County Animal Control in December. On January 3, 2023, she gave birth to five puppies who are available for adoption. Their dedicated foster family drove all the way from Oak Park to Nashville, Illinois, to pick the family up during the puppies' first day of life. Momma Stella has been delightfully friendly since day one. She's even good with the felines in her foster home ‰'Û| although she is way too interested in their guinea pigs. We recently sent out DNA to be analyzed to find out Stella's exact breed-mix, but in the meantime, we guess her to be boxer/pit bull terrier. Stella is perfectly housebroken, very healthy, de-wormed, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. If you're interested in adopting Stella or one of her magnificent puppies, please fill out the application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and then follow up by e-mailing [email protected] for an appointment to meet her. Her adoption fee of $375 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. She is currently being fostered in Oak Park, Illinois.
