About Archer

Archer is ready for his furever home! I rescued this handsome redhead from Animal Control as he was experiencing extreme shelter induced stress and was facing possible euthanasia without a rescue pull. He was a stray and they approximated his age to be about 1.5 years old. He has been vetted and neutered. He weighs 52 lbs and is a healthy boy. He does well with most other dogs. He has learned basic obedience, sit, stay, wait, working on downs, and leash training. He is kennel trained and loves his kennel. He is a fast and bouncy boy and LOVES to play fetch and he is very good at the drop it command to keep you playing. He needs at least a 4 Ft tall solid fence. He is extremely sweet, smart, goofy, and loves human attention. He does experience some resource guarding with certain toys and some types of food/treats, so I would be cautious with small children. I will only adopt him out to someone with proven husky experience. If you are interested in adopting Archer, please contact me. I've had him for 4 months now and he is just getting comfortable with trust.
