About Tyson

Spring has sprung and Tyson is ready to accompany you on all of your outdoor adventures! He is a mixed breed dog who weighs 56 pounds and is still very much of a puppy at around 12 months old. Tyson lives to romp and play with the other dogs in his foster home! He has all the energy he needs for hiking through the mountains or treking around your neighborhood! Because Tyson is a big puppy and still learning all the things good dogs should know, he'd be a perfect candidate for training! Tyson is already crate trained and ready to learn so much more! This guy is so much fun! Choose him to be your next best friend! Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
