Meet Red. She is a red heeler thought to be about 8 years old. She was picked up from her surrendering owner, who lived with her on a small farm until a recent move to assisted living, which is the reason for rehoming. She is used to living outside, but according to her temporary foster, you would never guess. She goes in and out of the house, puts herself in her kennel, and is eager to get in and out of the car. She lived with cats on her farm, and although she has not been formerly dog tested, she is nonreactive and has submissive body language toward the dogs in the temp foster home that she is being exposed to, although not introduced yet. She has been around kids and perks up when she sees them. She is very, very sweet and adores belly rubs. As one would expect from a heeler, she has plenty of energy. She needs a good home to retire to. Apply at fromforgottentoforever.com/adoptionapplication/. The fee is $250, fully vetted.
