About Benny (Benito)

Benny (blue collar) is a bonded pair with his sister Izzy. We found them both tied up to a picnic table and abandoned. It took us two days to coax them into the house, despite the cold. Once these dogs trust you, they are joyful and loving. They are both crate trained, mostly housetrained, and working on come, sit, stay, wait, and look. We have been working to expose them to new experiences, and they are becoming more comfortable. They will need more of this. In general, at this point, they can still be fearful of other people and other animals. They generally warm up within a couple of hours. They would thrive in a house with a big yard where they can play all day and cuddle with you at night.
