About Hildegard

Hildegard might look like a stern nanny at first glance. She's a big girl, much bigger than she appears in her pictures. Hildegard doesn't use her size to drag us around on leash and we appreciate that so much. She's mild mannered and knows some commands. Hildegard listens to commands and takes treats gently. She can self-entertain with all the smells and sights of the shelter or whatever toy is laying around. She was a little blasí© about toys though, that is until we found a squeaker one. Then it was game on! Hildegard shed years from her demeanor. She even jumped up to hug us in attempt to get to our noise maker. Hildegard is otherwise very respectful of our space and didn't jump on us for anything else even down on her level. Big and beautiful and ready for a home. Find Hildegard and find happiness!
