About Max

Max is a 5lb male chihuahua. He is estimated to be a little over a year old. He is a little bit skittish, mostly in the beginning but he has never shown aggression. He is good with my young children (4 & 6) and gets along well with our dogs. He loves to play and wrestle with our puppy (10 lbs) and although he isn't the biggest fan of our (70 lb) lab, he doesn't seem bothered by her either. He is mostly puppy pad trained and has potty breaks around the same time each day. Max doesn't like a leash and he loves/needs to sleep next to someone. He is not a fan of a crate but he loves being in his puppy play yard/pen with his bed, food and water and puppy pads. He thinks he is a watch dog and is very vocal when someone comes to the door. He can get a little anxious in car rides but once he finds a good spot somewhere to lay down he is fine. Max is really easy going and just wants love and attention. He will be the perfect companion for someone who wants a sweet-tempered sidekick. Max's adoption fee is $250.00.
