About Daisy

Adoption Fee: $375
Boxer / American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Meet Daisy, an adorable two-year old, 42 lb. boxer/staffordshire terrier mix. She came to Connecticut from Texas after being found as a stray. This sensitive gal has been through a lot in such a short amount of time so she needs someone who will be gentle, but also show her the way as she settles into a furever home. Daisy is a super affectionate and sweet girl who wants nothing more than to be with her people and by your side. She is shy at first and it takes her time to warm up but once she does, she is full of kisses and cuddles. Daisy's happiest when being pet, and returns all the love she gets tenfold. She has spurts of energy but is usually laid back and mellow. Once comfortable, Daisy enjoys her toys and zoomies around the yard. Fast movements and loud noises frighten her so a quiet and relaxed home would be best. She can be a little mischievous but is easily corrected. Daisy is smart and could use some basic training, specifically with leash walking, but learns fast. She's great in the crate and is housetrained too. Daisy MUST go to a home with another dog, as this helps her feel more comfortable and builds her confidence, along with a fenced yard to keep her safe. Her adoption fee is $375 and Daisy is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed.
