About Luna

Luna fast facts: + Available for adoption in Orange County + 1 year old + Dachshund/Chihuahua mix + Spayed, up to date on vaccines + 15lbs + Housebroken + Playful and energetic + Good with other dogs + Smart + Velcro dog who would love a family that is home with her most of the time Luna is a total puppy who is sweet as can be! She loves playing with toys, going on walks, and playing with dog friends. Once she wears herself out, she loves to cuddle with her people. She's had a rough go in life so far and came to us from the Riverside Shelter after being found laying on the side of the road. She is severely underweight and was lactating either from being taken from her puppies too soon or a false pregnancy. In spite of the trauma she's been through, she is such a loving little pup and is happy to be around people. She wags her tail so hard that her whole body wags. Luna is potty trained and 90% crate trained. She's been good with the other large and small dog in her foster home. We'd love to see her go to a home with a dog friend. We want to be clear that Luna is still very puppyish and will need a home that is willing to work with her on manners in the house. This is a special little pup who deserves a home that is willing to go all in on her and love her every day for the rest of her life. She will return that love to you tenfold.
