About Gretta

Adoption Fee: $250
Great Pyrenees mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

This giant puppy Gretta. She is a Great Pyrenees mix. Her coat is short and fluffy like a lab. Gretta is about 13 weeks old and currently weighs 32 pounds. When she grows up she is going to be a large adult. Gretta requires a physically fenced yard so she can safely run and play. Gretta is in rescue because her brother Groot found them some help. He wandered miles to the nearest house and asked for some help. Groot, Gretta, and Gabi had been dumped out in a rural area 3 %BD miles from a house and had been fending for themselves. Gretta and her sister were leery of coming near a human. Gretta was hungry and came close to get some rotisserie chicken. She quickly learned that humans aren't so bad. Gretta is an easy puppy. She is shy but warms up pretty quickly. Once she trusts you, she likes to be cuddled and snuggled. Gretta is housetrained as long as she gets out regularly. She sleeps through the night. Large breed puppies are not as rambunctious as smaller puppies. Their bodies are growing quickly, and they spend a lot of time napping. Gretta is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and dewormed. Her adopters will be responsible for her second and third distemper/parvo boosters and her rabies vaccine at 16 weeks. Since Gretta is a large breed puppy her adopters will be responsible for getting her spayed when she is a year old.
