About BOSA

** ADOPTED ** Bosa got his name because years ago, he was found under a car at Bosa donuts. He thinks his name is fitting because he's sweet as can be! Since then, he has lost his home due to his owner's illness. This beautiful boy is 8 years old, weighs 20 pounds, and is housebroken. He loves people and also enjoys the company of other dogs. He is currently in a foster home with a number of other dogs and just loves the setting, but he needs to be fed separately (he can be food-aggressive at meal time). Bosa would do great in a setting with another dog(s) provided his owner was okay with feeding him separately. He would also do fine as an only dog if his humans were retired or worked from home, and had enough time to interact with him plenty. Any children in the home should be at least 12 years old and of a very responsible and kind nature. When I met Bosa to take his pictures, I fell in love within about four seconds. He is an enchanting little boy who is generous with his affection towards people and other dogs and displays a precious curiosity towards others... he a total sweetheart. Bosa does require a home with a yard and some grass or turf. He is not a candidate for apartment or condo living. With a past urinalysis test, crystals appeared in the urine, so Bosa is on a special diet which is recommended for life. A past dog of mine had bladder stones at a young age and switched to the special food, and he was fine for the rest of his life. Bosa's new owner will need to be committed to keeping him on the same diet that's working well for him now. Bosa recently had bloodwork done and he checks out healthy! So, he has a dental scheduled for March 2nd. Bosa is also neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines. He will go to his new home with collar, ID tag, harness, and leash.
