RIN - ID #A1901834 Bonita Shelter, Bonita, CA Please help us find a good home or foster for these sweet dogs who came from a horrific hoarding case where they suffered utter neglect. Many dogs sadly did not survive, and these are the few that did and still remain, and are now ready for their forever homes and to be finally loved. They have been waiting since September and are available to adopt at the Bonita/San Diego County shelter. While the original owner reported them to be akita and chow mixes, all the dogs are smaller than most chows, so we are unclear of their true breeds, but we think they may be mixed with another spitz breed like jindo. When rescued, this poor little girl, the shelter fondly calls Rin, weighed only 28 lbs and was emaciated. Since then, she has gained weight and is a healthy 40 lbs and perfect size! Estimated to be 4 years young, although she came in quite shy and scared, she has been improving in time. They also said she shows no aggression and seems to need a patient person to make her feel safe. Rin was recently spayed and ready to go home. We are now looking for a kind person to open their home and heart to adopt or foster her or any of her friends.
