Meet Bella Rose, an adorable and lovable 10-month-old, 40 lb. rat terrier/pit mix. She came to Connecticut from Texas after being found as a stray. Her history is a mystery but this sweet girl is excited to find a family of her very own! Bella Rose is an energetic ball of fun! Some of her favorite things include running around the yard, playing with her toys, chewing on a bone, taking a walk or hike, or going out on an adventure. Bella Rose is eager to please, curious, and thrives on human attention and affection. She is great with other dogs, as long as they match her play style, as she's still learning to take cues. She is very rough and mouthy in her play. She is not, however, a fan of cats. As most rat terriers are, Bella Rose is a high-energy pup who will require daily exercise, enrichment, and companionship. She has displayed typical puppy behavior, like jumping and mouthing, so she'd be best suited for a home with teens and up, unless they are older children that are dog savvy. She has separation anxiety so you must be home often and training is highly recommended. Luckily Bella Rose is super smart and treat motivated, making her a great student. A fenced yard in a must. Her adoption fee is $425 and Bella Rose is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed.
