About Ava

Ava is almost 4 years old and she is a German Shepherd. She is a well behaved girl and loves her humans. In typical German Shepherd fashion she gets protective of her humans so will need a firm pack leader so she realizes she isn't in charge. She does need to be the only animal in the home. She seems to do fine when initially meeting another dog but long term it doesn't work. A fenced in yard would be a huge benefit for her as we aren't sure she is trustworthy enough to go out for walks unless her owner is able to keep 100% control of her. Although she loves kids she is not recommended with small children. Teenagers should be fine. She is housebroken. She weighs in at 83 lbs. She is spayed, current on shots, heartworm negative and current on preventatives. Her adoption fee is $100.00.
