About Benji

This is the most heartbreaking decision i've ever had to make. Benji is a best friend in dog form. He is almost 2 years old and a 'hound mix.' I got him from a shelter close to a year ago and he has made so much progress. Before me, Benji was in a hoarder home where he wasn't well taken care of. Because of this, he can be weary of some men and bark at them but normally gets over his barking fits in a couple minutes. He is energetic, cuddly, and loves to go on walks! At 57 lbs, he's the biggest lap dog I know but if you're sitting, he'll be right up next to you! Benji also loves car rides and sticking his head out the sun roof! I unfortunately have fallen into some financial trouble and because of this, i'm working almost 12 hour days 6 days a week and it's unfair to him to be kept inside for that much time! He is mostly crate trained (he whines when I first leave due to some separation anxiety but calms down and will nap most of the day.) He would thrive in a home with a yard!
