About Delaney

This girl came up to someone as a skinny forlorn stray in a rural area. The lady attempted to find an owner to no avail. One day she came up holding her leg up and not using it. After a few days she took her to the vet and discovered a dislocated hip. She had no funds to help Delaney and left her with the vet! The vet popped the hip back it place and placed the leg in a sling in the hopes the leg would heal and not require surgery. They reached out to rescue and we responded. Delaney made it through the period in the sling and then weeks of learning to reuse the leg and building her strength back! We are happy to report she is in great shape and ready to rock and roll! Delaney is a lovely energetic sweet girl who will make someone an awesome friend! We dont recommend any marathon running but Delaney can live a very normal life! She truly is a gem! Delaney is probably under 2 years and around 40#! She seems great with other dogs, walks pretty good on the leash, and seems to like most everyone! She would love a fenced in yard and another doggie friend about her size to romp with!
