She was so stressed in the beginning that her whole chest would be wet from drool. After we reunited Pepper with one of the dogs she came in with we saw a change. We think that dog is one of her puppies by how tolerant she was during the leash test. Whatever the relationship is, seeing eachother helped Pepper be less anxious. We aren't sure what her life was like prior to the shelter but we know she was loved just by the way she interacts with us. Pepper loves attention, loves to play, loves to be pet. She knows commands, has a great medium energy, walks nicely on the leash, and is calm when we are down on her level. Pepper is a dream dog, especially in the shelter setting. Come meet her at the CACC shelter in Chicago! Adoptions take place daily from 12p-6p
