Meet Adoptable BAXTER! Hey there! I'm Baxter, and I am a Boxer/Pitbull mix around 13 weeks old. I am also a great mix of energy and chill! I came from New Mexico, where I was dumped on the side of the road with my mom and 2 siblingsThat was a very scary experience for me, and I can be shy when meeting new people for the first time. In my foster home, I have two foster fur brothers; a Great Dane and a Staffy, and I get along great with them. I am peppy and get hyped up when something exciting is going on. When I am comfortable with a person, I look for pets + cuddles I am a typical, adorable puppy. I scamper across the floor, sometimes tripping over my paws. I love playing with anything that is new to me; New toy, new dog, new friend. I also love playing with balls, little stuffies, water bottles, anything crinkly, and of course - any toy that my foster siblings have. I follow everyone around, I am really smart, so I think its because I am always eager to learn what everyone else is doing. When I am not playing, I am looking for cuddle time. I love to sit next to someone curled up to rest. When I sleep, I occasionally have puppy snores and sound like a little piglet. Don't worry, its really subtle. My personality shows, even in my sleep with my crazy positions my bedtime smile. When I am awake, I am alert and always looking for something to do. Sometimes I nibble on my foster family, but that's because I'm learning what my teeth can do & They are trying to teach me not to nipI love sitting on the dog bed or the couch, where I know I might be spoiled for now. But I am happy anywhere, as long as I have something to do or someone to play with. I am being potty trained with puppy pads and a revolving back door to the outside. I sleep in a crate every night, and I do tend to whimper for a few minutes before I settle down. Clearly, my whimpering isn't getting me anywhere. I can't wait to find a furever family of my own, maybe with my own doggy sibling Little Baxter will be fully vetted prior to adoption.
