Cheez-it is heavy on the sadness. No puppy should feel the blues like he did the day we met. Cheez-it was dumped by his owner on people walking in to adopt that afternoon. The owner couldn't even be bothered to give the shelter basic information or a name. We are thankful that he at least wasn't loose in the street and got inside to the warmth right away. Cheez-it is a young dog and whimpered for home that first day. He already knows that sit means treat but he will do it for some affection too. Cheez-it, like any dog, can get jumpy when he's excited. He still can use his mouth occasionally to communicate, especially when he wants attention. We wish we could give him all the attention he desires but there's too many dogs. Cheez-it needs love from people he can call his own. He's playful, silly, sweet, still learning, and adorable. How could anyone not love him! Come meet this sweet boy at the CACC shelter in Chicago! Adoptions take place daily from 12p-6p
