Meet Alice 08/17/2018 This lass will need an experienced handler who will utilize her energy into sports, or hiking. She has a high prey drive, so small animals are a huge no. She would be best as an only dog, or very, very slow intros to dogs, and learn/watch her body language as she can be very pushy. She is also fine with a crate and rotate if it is an experienced multidog household. She is crate trained, a literal saint in the crate and doesnt make a peep unless its potty time and you will here the patter of her 'Happy feet' She is truly a very fun girl, who would love a home to call her own. She has leash manners and does well on walks so long as you know what to watch for. Her leave-it command on walks has been becoming very solid. She knows, Sit, Down, Come, Leave-it, Place, Heel, and Off We are evaluating her for sports, and think she would do amaxing in Barnhunt, or anything she gets to use her nose. We are also offering dicounted training services to continue/further her in her new home as she settles. Her first 6 months with us involved loads of crate rest as she was HW positive when she came in. We are happy to say she is negative and must stress the importance of keeping her up to date on prevention. We use Tri-heart and alternate to Simprica Trio every so often.
