About PIPPIN - NYC ResQ Pup

Adoption Fee: $150
Pit Bull mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Discovered wandering alone and apparently abandoned in a park in Queens, NY, a 2-yr-old, 50 lb Pitbull-mix was quickly re-abandoned to his fate at the notorious New York City kill pound, which named the affectionate pup who loves to stand on his hind legs and jump up to greet new friends - 'SCOTTY PIPPIN.' In spite of the fact that PIPPIN loves absolutely everyone he meets, including children and other dogs, uncaring bureaucrats at the city pound, known for their cruelty, promptly sentenced PIPPIN to death. Thankfully a 501(c)(3) rescue group stepped up to save PIPPIN's life but his rescue will not be complete until a forever home is finally found for the pup who has never had a loving family of his own. Undeserved neglect and repeated abandonment has left PIPPIN with an extreme case of separation anxiety as well as moderate insecurity around objects of value, so a tolerant family with rescue dog experience and at least one member who stays close to home would be ideal for the 'medium energy' dog who loves being a couch potato and cuddle partner even more than he loves to run and play! Be sure to click the YouTube button above to watch PIPPIN's video recorded by the volunteers in the kill pound who took him under their wing and truly loved him. To be a part of the happy ending of a true rescue dog story, please call Andrew anytime at (646) 387-9868. Thank You for caring about PIPPIN!
