Zeke is a very smart and loyal 2-year-old dog, but he has bitten children on several occasions since we adopted him as a puppy, so it is time to find him a new home. Once it was our baby who was pestering him. And twice it was neighbor kids playing rowdily in the yard. A few other times he just came close to biting neighborhood children playing. He seems to be threatened by their rowdiness/unpredictability, and also instinctually wants to herd them. Zeke likes to roll over and be petted on his belly. He loves attention and affection and throwing the ball. He loves to play submissively with other dogs. He has a strong protective instinct and barks menacingly at delivery people or strangers walking by on the sidewalk, but is not threatening to regular adult house guests. He currently lives with a cat whom he often annoys, but never harms. If he gets out of the fence for a romp he always comes home. He is an excellent sniffer and digger, and very cute and lovable with one ear up and one ear down.
